This page is created to help those with painful feet. So many come into chat looking for relief.

If their entire foot hurts from walking or tight shoes...standing...etc; the first thing I recommend is

slicing a raw potato and putting the moist side on the bottom of each foot...this seems to draw out a lot of pain and many have told me about the instant relief...I will list some other methods know to help.

Soak feet in comfrey and water...1 tsp comfrey tincture to a gallon of water for twenty minutes.

Or boil some leaves and use a cup of that water for adding to your soak.

Massaging feet is so beneficial to the entire body.

When they body has come to the point that gout is present, for sure the liver enzymes are not performing and cell repair is not happening....liver functions are off...Use Milk thistle and yellow dock to help correct liver function.

Heel Pain

The heel pain that is present on first putting weight on

your feet might be due to plantar fasciitis. This pain

usually gets better with movement but returns again when

you sit or lie down for even a few minutes. Take Rhus Tox

30c twice a day for relief and wear only shoes with good

arch support. This condition rarely heals unless you avoid

going barefoot during the healing process.

HEEL SPURS

If you have heel spurs they

recommend vitamin C tablets crushed into a powder or Vitamin C Ascorbate

powder made into a paste with water and applied to heel spurs to help

relieve the pain. Often the pain is from severe tightening of the

tendon. The Vitamin C adds elastin and collagen that allow it to loosen.

The herb Hydrangea will dissolve any excess calcium deposits.

Gout........Pantothenic acid

Poor Circulation?...Take B3

All of this helps make oregano oil a significant factor in treating

internal and external fungi including athletes foot. Skin conditions

such as psoriasis and eczema can be improved with the treatment as well.

Ingram explains the astonishing discovery that "oil of oregano outright

destroys all variety of fungi and yeasts, regardless of where they

reside."

In addition to fighting various fungi, oil of oregano is useful against

bacteria and parasites. As Ingram asserts, "oil of oregano's antiseptic

powers are immense...it inhibits the growth of the majority of bacteria,

something that prescription antibiotics fail to accomplish." In the case

of parasites, oil of oregano has had success neutralizing worms, amoeba

and protozoans.

DEFINITION:

A hereditary metabolic disease that is a form of acute arthritis and is

marked by inflammation of the joints. Joints affected may be at any

location but gout usually begins in the knee or foot.

CAUSES:

Excessive uric acid (hyperuricemia) in the blood and deposits of urates

of sodium in and around the joints. Several different metabolic

abnormalities this condition. Approximately 90% of gout patients are

male. The peak age for onset of symptoms in men is between 40 and 50;

women rarely have gout before menopause. Gout is closely related to the

diet, but may be brought on by stress. Obesity and an improper diet

increase the tendency for gout. Also called the ìdisease of kingsî and

ìrheumatism of the richî because of the rich diets people consume.

SYMPTOMS:

Most cases are without symptoms. When an acute attack occurs it usually

begins at night with moderate pain that increases in intensity to the

point where no body position provides relief.

If you think you might have gout, have your doctor do a test to diagnose

and treat the condition.

TREATMENT:

The condition responds to Colchicine. Medications to prevent uric acid

in the blood and prevent kidney stones from deposits of uric acid in the

kidney. Fluids should be forced at the rate of 3 liters per day. Aspirin

should be avoided.

Bedrest the first 24 hours after onset of acute attack with the affected

joints elevated. Analgesics administered, cold or hot compresses applied

juice diluted with distilled water. Drink only distilled water.

Eat NO meat of any kind. Meat contains extremely high amounts of uric

acid. Avoid gravies and rich foods, such as cakes and pies, leave white

flour and sugar products out of your diet. If you are prone to gout,

limit your intake of dried beans, cauliflower, fish, lentils, oatmeal,

peas, poultry, spinach, and yeast products.

Avoid purine-rich foods including: anchovies, asparagus, consommÈ,

herring, meat gravies and broths, mushrooms, mussels, all organ meats,

sardines, and sweetbreads. Never mix these foods with alcohol if you are

prone to gout! Alcohol increases the production of uric acid and must be

eliminated from the diet.

Avoid restricted weight loss diets. Abruptly, cutting back on foods or a

fast of longer than 3 days may result in increased uric acid levels.
