YES..What you have been hearing is true. ..Blueberries have come into

focus as a great help for memory and anti-aging....plus many other good uses.

(Some dieters eat them frozen...one at a time )

Most articles seem to agree that 1/2 cup a day is all you need.

I have found some links that will take you places to read even more about them.

The following was from a Holistic chat member:

< Hail to Blueberries >

My father in law made blueberry juice and he never got sick

Add one cup of fresh blueberries to 1 quart water in blender.....sugar to taste..Drink one cup per day.

BLUEBERRIES ---- ALL THE BLUEBERRY FAMILY CONTAINS THE SAME HEALTHFUL SUBSTANCES AS BLACK CURRENTS THEY ARE AN ANTI-INFLAMMATORY... PREVENT AND TREAT DIARRHEA {ESPECIALLY THAT IS CAUSED BY E. COLI} PROTECT BLOOD VESSELS AND PROLONGS {FLAVONID CONTENTS.} BLUEBERRIES BLOCK DAMAGE TO BLOOD VESSELS {ESPECIALLY IN THE BRAIN, THEREBY AIDING AGAINST STROKES}. FIGHT URINARY TRACT INFECTIONS, AND CONTROL DIARRHEA. THEY ARE ALSO ANTIVIRAL AND CONTAIN NATURAL ASPIRIN

All fruits have antioxidants, chemicals that help our bodies eliminate

free radicals and other harmful molecules. Blueberries, however, have

the most. In fact, according to the U.S.D.A., blueberries have 40

percent more than the next best, the strawberry. The antioxidants fight

heart disease and cancer and are primarily located in the blue pigment

in the berry. These chemicals also have recently been found to improve

the brain. James Joseph, a neuroscientist at Tufts University,

discovered that blueberries prevented short-term memory loss that

accompanies aging. Lastly, another health benefit of blueberries comes

in the tiny seeds, an excellent source of fiber.

One cup provides roughly a quarter of the daily recommended total.

Effective Treatment for Urinary Tract Infections

The following is so beautiful I had to share it.....Kes

From: Coyotewlks

What a beautiful morning we have here on the Southeastern shore. The sun is rising among the cloud people, and they bring the promise of rain along with them. The winged ones and squirrels will be coming in to feed soon. I am thankful. I Live. I experience. I love. I am at Peace. I have been thinking of all the changes that have come about this last year. I have met many wonderful people who I consider good friends, they in turn have brought me many new friends. My family is in relatively good health, and I love them all. I have even seen the return of several friends I had lost touch with. Throughout it all, I try to be as helpful as I can and just be me. That's all any of us can do. Just love one another. Reach out to help that hurting one today and everyday. Make that random act of kindness an everyday one. Let's all work together in healing the circle of us all.

I love you all and I love who you love.

Aerie.
