Research into Phytoestrogens has increased tremendously over the past

few years. The primary reason being that Asian women, who eat very high

quantities of soy (a major source of phytoestrogens) have very low rates

of breast cancer and suffer significantly less from menopausal symptoms

as compared to women in this country. Phytoestrogens are merely plant

estrogens that seem to mimic human estrogen in the body in potentially

positive ways. Unfortunately much of the research is inconclusive or

preliminary and therefore there is a lot of uncertainty. Generally

speaking, however, most physicians would recommend trying soy because of

its other health benefits and perhaps it will assist with your hot

flashes. A general recommendation for starting to eat soy would be to

build up to about 15 - 25 mg a day.

He tells how we can make ourselves well or ill by our thoughts.

He calls it the EII Response.

Emotionally Induced Illness

He says...A monotonus repetition of unpleasant emotions can set off a response in the nervous

system and endocrine glands.

Unpleasant emotions produce symptoms of disease. Tight muscles spasms cause pain

Pain causes more pain...Pain causes constriction of intestines and blood vessels that

in turn starves cells...Hyperventilation...fast breathing...(and you may not realize you

are doing it) causes numbness tingling..rapid heart..internal quivering...fainting ...weakness

and cramps...(caused by a drop in carbon dioxide in blood)..You may have felt this

waking from a nightmare...Cup your hands over your nose and mouth and keep

breathing the same air over and over for awhile and you will come out of it.

This is also called "ANXIETY ATTACKS"
